These terms of use apply to every use of the website rijkeradvies.nl and its subdomains. By visiting and using the website, you accept these terms. If you do not accept these terms, you should not use the website.

For agreements with Rijker Advisory on services (advisory, DPO, investigation, training), the General Terms and Conditions, filed with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce, apply.

2. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, structure, design, house style, imagery, code, methodologies (such as the Rijker Governance Adoption Model), frameworks, and logos, is the property of Rijker Advisory or of third parties from whom Rijker Advisory has the right of use. This content is protected by copyright, database right, trademark right, and other intellectual property rights.

Without the prior written consent of Rijker Advisory, it is not permitted to reproduce, adapt, publish, distribute, commercially exploit, or make derivative works of the content of this website, in whole or in part.

Short citations with source attribution and a link to the original page are permitted within the limits of Article 15a of the Dutch Copyright Act.

3. Nature of the content

The content of this website, including insights, articles, and descriptions of practice areas, is informative and general in nature. This content does not constitute legal advice and is not tailored to any specific situation.

4. Liability and insurance

To the extent that Rijker Advisory would nevertheless be liable for damage in connection with the use of this website, the following applies. The liability of Rijker Advisory is in all cases limited to the amount that in the relevant case is paid out under the professional liability insurance, increased by any applicable deductible.

The professional liability insurance of Rijker Advisory is underwritten by HDI Global Specialty SE, Dutch branch, and applies worldwide. If, for whatever reason, no payment is made under this insurance, liability is limited in accordance with article 14 of the General Terms and Conditions. Rijker Advisory is in no event liable for indirect damage, consequential loss, lost savings, lost profits, or reputational damage.

The liability limitations in this article do not apply to the extent that the damage results from wilful intent or wilful recklessness of Rijker Advisory. In case of any discrepancy between this English text and the Dutch General Terms and Conditions filed with the Chamber of Commerce, the Dutch text prevails.

5. No lawyer-client relationship

Visiting this website, reading its content, or sending an email using the contact details listed on the site does not create a lawyer-client relationship or other professional engagement relationship between you and Rijker Advisory. An engagement is established only after express mutual written confirmation under the General Terms and Conditions.

Confidential information you send unsolicited before an engagement is confirmed is not received as privileged or under a professional duty of confidentiality. Rijker Advisory may also have conflicting interests with the counterparty, which may make it impossible to accept an engagement.

6. Links to external sites

This website may contain links to third-party websites. Rijker Advisory has no control over these external websites and is not responsible for their content, availability, privacy practices, or policies. A link does not constitute a recommendation or endorsement.

7. Availability and changes
